Alex Canty

Alex Canty is a New York City based actor and a proud graduate of James Madison University. As a dynamic and talented actor, Alex brings a professional and refreshing sense of dedication and play to all his projects. He is currently represented by The Movement Talent Agency!

Alex’s positive and dedicated attitude proves invaluable on projects of both stage and screen. A fun and professional attitude off set complemented by an unending love of play and exploration on set serve him time and time as his greatest strength. His positivity and care for his fellow performers fosters a healthy creative environment and brings out the best in himself and his fellow cast.

Alex is a proud member of the Actors Equity Association. He recently wrapped production on “Mistletoe Mansion” for Gemelli Films and Hallmark Media. He is currently auditioning in NYC and also working on a few projects, including a debut album, new musical, and opening and operating a dance studio: 718 Dance Collective!

While Alex's passions are performing and music, he has other interests, including playing guitar, piano and ukulele, waterskiing, hiking, kayaking, doing the Electric Slide, songwriting, and exploring new places.
